Governor Roberts home is located at 3212 Freno Lane in Donelson. This home was constructed in 1880 by the Alex Perry family. The farm consisted of what is now known as the Lincoya Hills Subdivision. All of the main rooms are heated with fireplaces. An old smokehouse to the rear is now used for storage. It is judged to be about 150 years old because of the type mortar used in its construction. The rooms are large with high ceilings. There are four bedrooms, and a den upstairs. There are two bedrooms, living room, den, utility room, den, modern kitchen on the main level. There are two stairways, two large halls and two bathrooms. Albert Roberts served as Governor of Tennessee from 1919 to 1921.
